Butter & Sunflowers

August holds that fleeting, golden light of late summer—warm, slow, and already ringing with nostalgia. It’s the perfect season to linger outdoors, and what better way to celebrate the bounty of the fields than with an indulgent butter-themed dinner set against a sea of sunflowers?

The table was dressed simply—linens in soft yellow, natural green candles glowing, and bright yellow sunflowers arranged in loose, wild clusters as if they’d just been gathered from the field- which they were by the incredible flower farmer, Allison Dimaggio. Guests took their seats as the late-summer air hummed with crickets, the whole scene bathed in butter-colored light. Sarah Snyder of Snyder Concierge & Allison of Bramhalls Blooms, the creatives behind the tablescaping are long time friends and neighbors who collaborate beautifully and are the most gracious dinner part hosts.
